break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar. So I thought cost of living would be cheaper here in the ole midwest but turns out no. For example, a Kit Kat bar at the UCSF gift shop 75 cents and here at UW health gift shop 1.20 $ crazy. And today I got a below average mani/pedi and it was 50 bucks at a "you work today? ", "you married?" "you want flower" type place. 35 bucks in SF. gas costs the same here. food. movies. flowers. my Kombucha drink. What gives. It's nuts.
Where in the hold world did you get a $50 "you want flower?" pedi here? I hope it wasn't a place I referred you too. But seriously gas costs the same? That seems crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteYikes, for $50 they should be speaking perfect English! What about trying a beauty college, that will make for some great posts. And, $1.20 for one small candy bar? That IS nuts. Just stick to your beer and cheese, ok?
